Fortune Procurators is a reputed name, which is engaged in offering an extensive range of industrial abrasives media. Our products are manufactured by Global Leaders in abrasives manufacturing in compliance with international quality standards
Steel Abrasives for Cleaning, Preparing, Peening, Cutting
Steel Abrasives are steel particles that are used as abrasive or peening media. They are usually available in two different shapes that address different industrial applications.
Quenched and tempered, it is a spherical product of hypereutectoid steel (C ≥ 0,85%). Perfectly controlled heat treatments provide it with optimum resilience and resistance to fatigue. This type of shot is used in all applications where the desired effect is for mass and maximum bounce as well as for shot peening.
Shot Peening Steel shots are used in shot peening, which is used to make stronger and reduce stress in machinery like turbines, steel automobile crankshafts, springs, gears, torsion bars, shafts and connecting rods.
Surface Preparation Steel shots are used in support of coatings, such as powder coating, enameling, painting, metallization, rubber bonding and more…
Sand Removal Steel shots can be used in cleaning of castings.
Scale Removal Steel shots can also be used to clean ferrous or non-ferrous alloys or products (pipes, plates etc.) that are made from forging, die-forging, stamping, drawing and rolling or after heat treatment.
Shot Blasting of Cast Steel Steel shots can be used on the blasting of profile steel, ship board, steel board and other steel material
Roughening and de-burring Steel shots are used in the aesthetic treatment of some material. It is also used to remove the burrs that might arise during injection moulding of metallic products.
A cast steel angular grit is produced by crushing specially heat treated oversize shot pellets. It is utilised for air blast cleaning or surface preparation
Quenched and tempered, angular when new, this grit rapidly rounds off in use and is particularly suited to de-scaling applications.
Quenched and tempered, although harder than GP steel grit, GL also loses its sharp edges during shot blasting and is particularly suited to descaling and surface preparation applications.
Quenched with maximum hardness, GH always remains angular in its operating mix. These abrasives are particularly effective in surface treatment processes and produce a uniform, etched finish. For use mainly with compressed air equipment.
Steel grits WGR are special products used for the cutting of hard stone products such as granite.
Steel Grit can be used for a variety of cleaning purposes. In addition, they can also be used for
